Guest guest
Hi Susters and Brothers I have been hibernating here in Michigan, working to make money for tsunami survivors and gotten embroiled in my monkey mind for a while. I just had to respond to the QUEEN BEE (there are also KING BEES) discussions as related to satsangs. I get such a kick out of that phrase QUEEN BEE, it is so cute and so appropriate without beeing mean. I have had my Queen Bee moments, and always feel SO ASHAMED afterwards and wonder where the motivation comes from in me to even want to be the QUEEN. I have found myself crying and laughing at myself at the same time. Amma is so gentle with me and she laughs at me too...finding the middle finding the middle - we all have roles to play in the satsang, balancing between our complete devotion (fanatical at times) and our selfishness, our fear and our bravado, our joy and our pain. Satsangs have to be managed, and the responsibilities have to be delegated, re-delegated and most of all presented at the feet of the guru...we are managing here in Michigan, it is TOUGH sometimes and we surrender to Amma. We are having a mother's day retreat at the ashram, see our website www.ammamich.org for more info.... Kenna I love your commentary so much, thanks for sharing your wonderful ideas and thoughts...love to all... Om Namashivaya - In Amma's service, Supriti Omenka Nnadi Celebrate 's 10th Birthday!
