Dear Aikya ~ this reminds me of a children's story I wrote, "The Shaggy Little Angel." She was somewhat new to the astral plane, and the older angels weren't exactly mean to her, but they just forgot to pay attention to her sometimes, didn't quite take her seriously sometimes. Her "job" was to go with the older angels to the place where souls leaving the earth enter the astral plane, to help ease any pain or confusion and to lead them through the astral thicket to their astral home where they would, once again, get on with their own evolution as spiritual beings. Part of the story is how surprised some people are when they have crossed over and it is not what they expected. Some expect to go to hell, and boy, are they confused. Some expected to go straight to Heaven ~ not as much confusion there, since the astral plane has many heavenly elements. And then there are those who have died suddenly, tragically, who are just confused because they don't know what happened; they are still caught up in the pain of their tragic death, and they are very hard to reach. In the story, on the way to the entry portal, the Shaggy Little Angel somehow gets separated from the older angels, so instead of going to the entry way, she wanders around in the thicket until she hears someone crying. She goes toward the sound. She finds a woman, disheveled looking, bent over, with her arms clutched about herself. The woman died tragically, suddenly; doesn't quite know she is dead in the physical world sense; doesn't quite know why she is alive in the non-physical world sense and is still very caught up in her pain. The Shaggy Little Angel goes to her and speaks softly, "hello, I'm the Shaggy Little Angel; here, take my hand, and I will help you." Anyway, eventually the woman is able to overcome her resistance, takes the little angel's hand, and the Shaggy Little Angel leads her to her new home in the astral plane where the woman is then surrounded and greeted by the other, older angels. Her gratitude to the little angel is so great, she has tears streaming down her cheeks, and the older angels never discounted the Shaggy Little Angel again.
