Dear Anatole,

 

These prayers are so right on time. Yesterday I received a letter

from the mother of Michael C. Moore, one of the men in prison to

whom we write. He is one of a few who have been transformed by

hearing about Amma and he shares Amma with anyone else in prison who

will listen. His mother asked me for a prayer book. The

transformation in her son has made her interested in Amma. She wrote

 

"I would like for your, Aikya, to send me some prayer books, please

because Michael is not the same. Michael is in the word with God."

 

She is a simple person who needs simple language. Sanskrit and the

Hindu content of a lot of our Sanskrit prayers would be puzzling to

her but she gets the essence of what Amma is showing us. She writes

that God is love.

 

I think we need a simple prayer book for her and all the others who

are coming. Thank you for sending some.
