Guest guest
Om Amriteswaryai Namah, I liked the last prayer a lot. Prayers are good. Here's mine ~ Dear Mother( Amma ), Please bless ~ us ~ with Your Divine Strength and Wisdom. Fill our hearts with Your Love and Compassion. Make our faith simple, innocent and strong that Amma provides all our spiritual, emotional, mental and physical needs. The only gifts we have for Mother are our burdensome and complicated minds which create endless suffering. Please make our minds simple, innocent and kind ~ weak in wrong and strong in goodness. Mother, please protect us from the distractions, complexity and dangers of the world. Help us to be aware of Your Presence in our hearts always. Please Mother, come to us in dreams, visions, meditations and wakefulness filling us with Your Love and Light. Please Mother, don’t delay, hurry and come right away. Guest guest
Thanks, Anatol. Your prayer is very beautiful. As you know I am writing to a lot of people in prison. Some of them come to love Amma very much. I've been thinking about how I'd like to give them simple prayers in English and other simple practices to do to help them. Dayamritaswamy gave me persmission to share the MA OM meditation with them. I was thrilled to find Mukti Herte's 108 Names of Amma in the 1998 IMMORTAL BLISS. It's not a translation of the Sanskrit but a beautiful English prayer. I've been praying to Amma for prayers in English for the brothers and sisters in prison. May I share your prayer with them. I'd love it if others would write some prayers in English too. I had been thinking about a young man who had recently been sent to a high security prison. We were writing to him for 5 months and we never heard anything. Finally he replied and said that he had been depressed. He wrote that he was trying to "stay in Amma love" and that he was telling the other men about Amma and how she hugged everyone and always kept love in her heart. He was longing for Amma books so I had Mothersbooks send him a biography. The next morning after I received his letter, the Prayer in Times of Need came effortlessly to me and I received it as Amma's gift for us, whever we nned it. Guest guest
Yes! We should share at least some of our prayers with others. I was encouraged to share my prayer because you shared yours. Thank you. I hope others will do the same to encourage others to pray. But of course, some prayers( maybe most ) should be just between us and God to avoid feeding the ego too much. We should point out that everyone can "pray in the language of their heart." When Amma was asked in video "Light of Wisdom" how to pray for world peace and for people undergoing hard times, She replied that it is the ATTITUDE( the feelings ) that are more important than the words and that the "message" will get to them. with constant heart prayers to Amma, amarnath/anatol Ammachi, "Aikya Param" <aikya> wrote: > > Thanks, Anatol.
