Robin, are you still there? I think your prayers are working again. I don't know if I have filled you all in yet, but as you knew, I'd been diagnosed with a progressive lung disease for which there is little/no treatment and no cure. However, out of the blue, about a week ago, my doctor called mid-evening (!) to tell me something had been bothering him about the CT scan he had done on my lungs so he had gone back to the hospital and reviewed the results (!). He feels there is a slight chance that the first diagnosis was wrong and that, in fact, I have a similar, but not necessarily as deadly, autoimmune disorder going on in there. If that's the case, it might be possible to arrest the progression and within months to years, even allow me to be taken off oxygen. I think I sense some Divine intervention here, but as I've said, if the biopsy results (due Monday or Tuesday) don't change the diagnosis and outlook, it's ok-things will go as they should.
