Guest guest
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Amma, Once again, thank you all for sending in names for prayers. I have received many notes from people saying the prayers are helping. Blessings to all of you for participating in this seva. And many people are taking the prayer list with them when they see Amma. Again, I believe it would be a good idea to outwardly (verbally) or inwardly, whichever suits the individual person, state the intention that "I am saying this prayer for these people," and then to outwardly or inwardly say their names. The names for this week's Prayer Group are: Akshea Amarnath and Samarpana Amrita Ananda/Tusti & Elan Anil T. Joan Avallone Joseph Avallone Marianne Benforado and Family Bindu Adriane Bradley Luanne Brooten Steve Brooten Baskaran Christiann K. Cory Dana David S. Amy Dawn Duke A. Edwin K. Some of the suggestions are: * to say the Aum Amriteswaryai Namah (a mala or as many or as few as is comfortable) * to say your own mantra given by Amma, or some other mantra you feel especially drawn to * to say the 108 Names of Amma * to pray in any other way that suits you * to say the Mahamrtumjaya Mantra (I suggest 21 times, but again, as many or as few as is comfortable. Mantra: tryambakam yajamahe sugandhim pushtivarddhanam urruvarukamiva bandhanan mrtyor mukshi ymamrtat It has been suggested that people could use these names and continue to pray each day or any one or more days during the week, however, the official PRAYER GROUP DAY will be SUNDAY. I would like to suggest, and again this is only a suggestion that people can do or not do, that we end with: Om Lokaah Samastaa Sukhinoh Bhavantu (May all Beings be Happy) and Shant Shanti Shanti
Guest guest
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Amma, Today is the day to begin sending in names for this week's prayer list. I will post the list to Friday's Digest. Please let me know if you want the name(s) to be on for more than one week, with the understanding that, at this point, I am only going through August 31 with the list, and then I will start it over again. I have found it is a little more manageable to work with the list if I do this periodically. Please send names to my personal email: _Nierika_ (Nierika) or post them to the digest up until Thursday, and they will be included. Guest guest
Namah Shivayah I finally got the second picture to work, and have uploaded it to the folder. Linda: I tried moving the other pictures to the folder, but I do not have access. Our Ma surely does take care of us...She loves us so... Guest guest
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Amma, Please let me offer humble apologies for not getting the list in by today (Friday). It should show up on Saturday. I have been sick all week, and somehow thought today was Thursday until I looked at my calendar. The blessings that Mother has showered upon our group prayer seva, over and over, leaves me speechless...Her rubbing the pages with sandlewood, Her holding the list to Her forehead, Her showering the list with flower petals...I am stunned by the overwhelming love and beauty of these actions. Jai Ma. Once again, thank you all for sending in names for prayers. I have received many notes from people saying the prayers are helping. Blessings to all of you for participating in this seva.
