Guest guest Posted January 21, 2005 Report Share Posted January 21, 2005 just got a distressing letter from allen johnson and i rushed to the library to ask you all to pray for pour brother.he is facing life in prison.i have visited him and he is just someone who got caught up in that lifestyle .his letter sounded like he was close to dying.at least spiritually.please would you take a couple of minutes to pray for him.if anyone would like to write him here is his info.214 north church street rockford illinois 61101.if you want him to reply you have to put your adress on the inside and it must be hand written.he will know that asked you to write so don't worry about that.even if it is just a couple of warm hearted sentences and a wriiten quot from AMMA. he knows of AMMA through us ,however he is a christian.he told me in previous letters that he is with anything positive.if you do write please let aikya param know.om namah shivaya.thankyou Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

She in the midst of changing ISPs anad so she gave me permission to repost it here. She tells of a moving reply she received from Allen Johnson, the man Themba asked us to pray for. Allen likened his prison experience to a nightmare, but said that by grace, God keeps him going & still sprinkles blessings on him daily. He said i (it's Amma!) was a wonderful inspiration & prayed to hear from me again. I love it when the recipients write that they are also keeping me in their prayers! We are so blessed to be able to do this seva. The loving support we communicate seems to be far more important than I had ever realized. Am pretty overwhelmed with preparing to host IAM training here in March, but hope to get more involved with this project after that. Madison is the closest satsang to Rockford!
