Guest guest
Two nights ago I had an extremely vivid dream that was a bit unsettling. For whatever reason I was being sent to prison for 3 years. My dream took place in my first few days in prison, and was just so terrifying and real. In the dream, in a way that I don't do in real life, I kept turning to Amma for comfort. I chanted my mantra with a new awareness and surrender. I felt on one hand that my time there was a waste, and I didn't belong there because I'm a good person. But on the other hand, I was seeing how my time there could be very beneficial to me on a spiritual level, as I'd have nothing to distract me from surrendering. And that whether I was in prison or anywhere else, it is all just experience, and nothing more. I realized that I needed the three years there to help me Awaken, and that if I was to be released early, I would revert back to my old habits (that is, the habits I actually currently have in my waking life). And then I awakened from the dream. And here I am, thankfully with no 3 year prison sentence, but still, with my habits. Maybe I'd rather have the prison term than the habits! What's funny is that I've been about a month behind on my Amma mail. So today I sit down to read it all, and don't you know, it's all about prisoners and surrendering!! Clearly there is something to this madness. Now if I could just find a way to break my habits that doesn't involve breaking the law and ending up in a prison that has bars! Guest guest
Dear Romi, That was one powerful dream! And it presented much stark truth from a spiritual perspective. Thank you for writing it - I certainly can learn from your dream. Jai Ma! prasadini Romi Ross wrote: > Two nights ago I had an extremely vivid dream that was > a bit unsettling.
