A recent Amma quote from this group: The aim of prayer is to develop love and

compassion for everyone. If someone feels that praying for others is too much

of a chore, perhaps that person might pray instead to develop the compassion

that Amma wishes for us. With compassion, the prayer list becomes an honor, a

privilege, an opportunity...a blessing! Let us not whine for ways to reduce

sadhana. Let us pray for the capacity to do more! Jai Maa!!!
