With this she will certainly be able to fulfill the needs of the Tsunami victims and make this pledge a reality. Dear Amarthya ~ thank you so much for posting this. So far, I have received most of Sw. Dyamrita's messages, but I did not get this one, and it moved me to tears, and to act, for I am making a personal pledge of a monthly donation to the Tsunami relief fund. I have no doubt that whatever Amma promises gets done, and even things we don't hear about like rebuilding the villages in Gujurat that had been previously hit by a quake. I knew about the widows fund, but I did not know about the protitute rehabilitation fund. That makes me want to cry because this is an issue that is so near to my heart. I would also like to remind people of the web auction ... so many wonderful items, many Amma has used personally, ate off of, combed Her hair with, or others She has blessed ~ a wonderful way to donate. Love to all of Amma's children and to all those She is working so hard to help ~ Linda
Guest guest
Also, when the press asked how Amma could make such a pledge (Mother is the highest private donor) She replied that she had many good children who serve selflessly. I've never heard such a direct request from our Amma for a call to action!!! She gives to us to the last drop of Her blood, and to those who take mantra diksha She refuses Her own slavationn until each one is saved-- without asking for a cent. Nobody goes away empty handed from Amma whether they have anything or nothing so we cannot let this request by the one who serves us so completely for decades now go unheard. Jai Ma!
