Guest guest
This is from a San Ramon satsang devotee physician, who is now in India ... Thank you so much for focussing on these meds...Sorry I was unable to access e-mail for a few days due to problems with our ashram internet connections so please forgive the delay in replying... Thanks to Dave also (and of course the rest of my dedicated AIMS sisters and brothers over there... So many people are probably stacking, piling, and sorting and I know how much work that is...You are ALL providing DIRECT relief to people very much in need here...They are able to breathe because of other people's concern and sincere efforts for them. Hopefully that keeps everyone there going... The tsunami (like Sept 11 and other global disasters) have served to remind us how small this world really is --- both in the suffering we can experience and the love and solace we can share. We were able to discharge all of the Ayurveda College patients and now all of those without homes are concentrated at the Engineering College. Right now we are focussing on psychologic therapy with the traumatized children (really playing and letting them express their fears and bad dreams to us so that we can discuss this with them), again at Mother's specific request. She moves so seamlessly between CEO/coordinating the global aspects and the silent cries of the little children in their sleep. But then that is what God does best. It is beautiful to experience, though...After the play therapy started we brought the children in groups for darshan and Mother hugged them and asked them to not be afraid. One of the smallest children, just 3 years old, remembers Mother telling Her witha big smile "Amritam Gamaya.." She told me she says that every night before she goes to sleep now and her nightmares have gone away. Please forward to all interested who have wanted updates. At Her (Wet but ever-stable!)
