Om Amriteshwari Namah!

Namaste to all,

I would like to know what are the specific teachings of Amma

regarding nutrition. Is She vegetarian Herself? Lacto-vegetarian ?

(no animal flesh, no eggs and no leather)

What about fish?

I am lacto-vegetarian and do not consume any animal flesh.

Thank you very much!

Om Shanti!

It is not possible to state definitely, "Eat this, do not eat that." The

influence of diet

upon us varies according to climatic conditions. The types of food we avoid

here

may be useful in the Himalayas.

In general Ammachi recommends a vegetarian diet. At the Ashram, and

at all the retreats, delicious vegie food is served..rice beans

vegetables with some dairy....all very delicious and

nutricious...for real hard core yogis, she recommends eating less of

course!
