Dear Robin ~ I did not know of this song, so I thank for asking

for the words and you for putting them here. Do you or anyone know if this

song is on any of the more recent bhajan tapes? I would love to hear it. Thank

you ~ Linda

Dearest Nierika,

This song is on Amma's English Bhajan's. There are about six in all. I had to

get this CD when I met Amma and there was an english bhajan she sang. I can't

remember it at this moment but it is the one with Krishna Bhagavan. It brought

me to tears wholeheartedly when she sang it and the whole time she sang bhajan's

they were in some other language. I realized when she was singing this one half

way through....it was in english!! It is hard to sing in a language that you

don't know or understand and put so much feeling into it as Amma had that day.

It brought me to tears. I bought it after the bhajan's that day. I also loved

the songs they had passed out on a piece of paper. I read them and would just

cry my heart out. Even without hearing them in song. I wanted to keep the paper

with the songs on them but we had to hand them back. So I handed my paper to the

people and passed them up. Then all of a sudden one came back to me. My friend

just smiled and I put it in my pocket for safe

keeping. Now I sing bhajans with it. It is my favorite because it is something

I can understand and because Amma sings it herself. It makes me cry everytime. I

can put my whole heart and soul into it.

Dear Nierika,

I found the songs. The one that moved me to buy the CD was Lord of Vrindavan.

The others are No one but you, Life is a play, Wondrous Goddess Precious

Goddess, Everywhere I look and One tiny atom. I couldn't pick a favorite now. I

came back after meeting Amma so aborbed by the bliss that I was jealous of

everyone knowing the bhajans at the program that I learn all the english ones

and taught myself quite a few others as well. I do have two favorite songs, the

first time I heard them I felt like swooning from the joy of them. The are Radhe

Radhe and Ananda Janani. I love Anandinidhane, Ambike Jagadiswari, Ma Jai

Jagadambe, Ushakalaneram, Manivarnan Vannila, Om Guru Mata is another favorite,

Om Kali Ma, Omkar Guru Ma, Om Namo Bhagavate, Para Shakti, Radhe Govinda, Rama

Bolo are all ones I tought myself. There are a lot more on CD that I know. I

love her Malayalam Bhajans I learned all of those and I have two other CDs Plus

some that some sent when I first joined the group which are

pretty worn out but I still love them. I think I must have went overboard lol.

I think I was in such a blissed out state for a few months after meeting Amma I

could think of nothing else. She was the air I breathed and I don't think there

was a half a second I didn't think of her. I listened to her CDs at work all day

and then came home cleaning while singing them, and then I would sit and sing

them and get so absorbed in them that I would swoon into bliss. I thought it

would never end. Unfortunatly it did. But it makes us all hunger for that kind

of passion again. I miss her.

Dear Robin ~ thank you for giving me the name of the bhajan tape. How

wonderful to know what it is so I can purchase one. And thank you also for

sharing

this beautiful experience. To me, this coming of the song page back to you is

a miracle, and I can understand how being able to use it would allow you to

put your whole heart and soul into singing the bhajans. What a wonderful

story of Amma. Jai Ma ~ Linda
