Guest guest
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Amma, "Flaming," for those unfamiliar with the term, is when a person or people come into a chat room or digest, who have opposing views to those who are sharing, and who start a dispute just for the sake of disputing. This just serves to throw us all off the track. I am basically using this as an opportunity to ask everyone to just stop responding to the flamers. Amma needs no defense. She has weathered these attacks before. This is going beyond the point of a seeker questioning to just continuing the dispute for its own sake. Somehow I feel Amma would prefer otherwise. This morning I read of aftershocks and more flooding in some of the areas previously hit. Thank goodness, the US has revised its aid allotment signigicantly, but I have heard there are trouble getting supplies where they are needed because of roads being washed out and such. Should not out attention be focused on whatever we can do for these who are in need? Prayer, donations, etc .... Sunday is our Prayer Group day, so let's try to stay focused on Amma's teachings, Her selfless service, how we can emulate Her, for a guru not only is one who removes darkness, but one who sets an example for others to follow. Let our love for Amma guide us to silence with regard to these unneccessary disputes. Jai Ma ~ Linda
