Guest guest
Dear ones, I received an email today from a friend of mine who is co-owner of an online yoga store, who has felt deeply moved by what I've shared with her about Amma's efforts in the disaster relief, and about Amma in general. She is interested in featuring Amma's relief efforts, plus possibly a link to donate, on the website, during the month of January. She asked about devotee experiences of seva/presence during the crisis, or about Amma's wisdom, with respect to how we can understand and respond to such a tragedy from a spiritual perspective, and about any spiritual reflections that have struck us recently. Understandably, given the immediacy of the crisis, most of the emails I've received or that have been forwarded to me with respect to the disaster and Her relief efforts have been briefings about what is happening over there, rather than reflections on experiences, or on how we understand and respond and continue to have faith in the face of tragedy. They need to put up the January website in the next couple of days, and I'm not sure if it's feasible to get stuff together for this feature in time...but if anyone does have any words of Amma's wisdom as pertains to this situation, or suffering in general, or reflections or experiences to share, it would be lovely to see Her work in this area publicized beyond our satsang, especially if that may help raise more money for Her relief efforts. Guest guest
By the way, I did send an email to Dayamrita Swami at MA Center, as well...but I'm not sure whether or not he will have time to respond or suggest anything in the coming day or two.
