Regarding the message below....

The more common question usually asked by people is "why did

GOD allow this to happen?" But these things happen in nature and

in life, and throughout history I don't think anyone has had an

answer to that question that has satisfied many people. It is one

of the mysteries of the Divine that we cannot understand fully.

Attaching blame to a person because they did not predict it is, IMHO,

foolhardy and immature.

I would like to suggest that if you do not like Amma that you

find another group to participate in. I found similiar situations

in other groups of different spiritual traditions that people of

other faiths, for whatever reason, liked to come in to the chat

and try to convert us or change our beliefs. That is fine for a

group that is about religous debates and discussion. But not for

a group devoted to sharing teachings about a particular spiritual

tradition or master.

Achintya

Mata's Prediction

Many lives lost in Tsunami disaster. Most of the people died near

Mata Amritananda Mayi's Ashram.

I was a follower of Amritanda Mayi. Swamis including Amrita

Swaroopnnada, Neil told me she is the incarnation of God.

Her biography tells that she has the power to foresee things. The

book tells that she predicted, former Indian PM, Indira Gandhi's

assassination.

This claim later proved to be wrong. The incarnation of All Mighty

could have avoided this disaster by using her power to predict future.

After 6 years I got the revelation; no difference between Mayi and

the TV evangelists.

None of her predictions came true inmy life.

Omniscience doesn't mean knowing everything

::Here's the rub with that one. I used to believe this and it seems

reasonable enough. the question is how would the world's greatest natural

disaster,

killing perhaps one hundred thousand people (by the time contagion sets in) NOT

be something such a one would be "divinely inspired to know?" A lot less

important things have been "divinely inspired," so how would one explain a major

calamity as being not important enough to know? People all the time say things

as if Amma is playing little cute games with them, them specifically, and yet

tens of thousands are lost, even in her own backyard, and she didn't need to

know it? Avram

When a disaster in someone's life is averted, I have heard many say

that it was Amma's grace. When something is not averted,

immediately it is stated by many that it is not an avatar's duty, it

is their karma ...

Here we have a suggestion that just because this person asked a

question, he is out here to convert etc. An honest question

deserves an honest answer (preferable) or silence, not some BS

about 'if you don't like Amma, get out'. If it turns out later that

this person is only out to discredit Amma, I agree that this person

might find a better forum on ammachi_free_speech_zone or other forum.
