Guest guest
I told James Braha¹s wife (astrologer) that I had posted his email address on the chat. She responded: Hi Rick, A lot of changes here. James quit his jyotish practice about a month or two ago. When people contact him about it, he refers them to ACVA astrologers (American Council of Vedic Astrology): "Hi, I have stopped doing horoscope readings for the forseeable future. It was my profound pleasure to practice the wonderful art of astrology for 22 years and I sincerely hope I was able to help many people on their journeys. I am now writing a book on ADVAITA VEDANTA (non-duality, or the "pathless path" of Awakening) and feel I can do far more good in this new realm. Please go to www.Vedic Astrology.org and click on Vedic Astrologers. There are plenty of good people there (David Goldstein, Chakrapani Ullal, Dennis Harness, Dennis Flaherty, Ronnie Dreyer, David Frawley, and many others). Good luck! James" No astrological pun intended with the term "foreseeable" :-) Vashti
Guest guest
Best of luck to James on his new project, but he will be missed in the astrological realm. I found him to be very good. (I'm a serious student of Jyotish myself and can vouch for his technical as well as intuitive acumen.) In case anyone is looking for Jyotish readings, I'll share my recommendations. Of the ones from whom I've had readings, the best ones I know of still practicing are Prasannan (of Amma's ashram) and Bill Levacy (latter's website is http://www.vedicsky.com/). Bill (like James) has written a great introductory book on Jyotish as well. I haven't (yet) had readings from Edith Chuhta or Robert Koch, but from talking to them and seeing them teach I'm sure they're also excellent. blessings, Jim / Pranav Ammachi, Rick Archer <rick@s...> wrote: > I told James Braha¹s wife (astrologer) that I had posted his email address > on the chat.
