Happy Holidays Dear Dana, At the bottom of the prayer list are many options for what type of prayer or prayers you can say. This flexibility suggestion was made by the group. So you can say just one of the options or more. Now ... to answer your question .... The Mahamrtumjaya Mantra (MM Mantra for short) is a very powerful healing mantra that is said for anyone in a time of great need, be it illness, homelessness, sorrow, anything. For example, today I will recite it for all those who died in the earthquake/tsunami that hit Asia a few days ago, and for those that remain who are injured, bereft in any way, etc. Here is the Sanskrit transliteration of the MM Mantra: tryambakam yajamahe sugandhim pushtivardhanam uruvarukamiva bandhanam mrtyour mukshi yamamrtat The meaning is a worship to "that Father of the three worlds...Granter of Increase, and to be released from all bondage, as a cucumber is released from its stem. I hope this helps. Jai Ma ~ Linda
