When I got my mantra, the mantra line person just asked me what kind of mantra I wanted, and I said Amma mantra. Perhaps that is all it is ... which type of mantra do you want? who is your personal diety? There are so many, yet all have their own mantras, so even if you only get one, that doesn't preclude you from saying mantra to others. I do my Amma mantra, but I also do Durga Mantra, Mahamritumjaya Mantra, Ganesh Mantra and Saraswati mantra. These are my favorite mantras and some of my own favorite dieties.
