Dear Jyotsna and Linda, thank you so much for posting and

appreciating Vicki's writing. Yes, she is a very talented writer.

Over the years of Bob's illness she has kept a website with pieces on

dealing with cancer, being in the now, and spiritual path pieces both

As I have said before, she has never met Amma, but is always hungry

to hear stories from me. They have had a small sari cloth and a

photo of Amma's hands in their bedroom for the last 4 years. She and

I have both been talking out loud and praying to Amma through this

last week. Yesterday when the sleet was falling during Bob's burial,

then my purse was stolen, she was joking that she might have to

borrow someone else's guru. But we all agree that inside we have

felt deep peace.
