Dear superblu ~ the Mahamritymjaya Mantra (MM Mantra) is a very good "all

purpose" mantra for healing, for things going well, and as Swami Satyananda

Saraswati has said: "...receive the blessings of Lord Shiva." So it is a really

good mantra to chant for people who are in need of prayer. In case you don't

know it here is the transliteration:

tryambakam yajamahe sudandhim pushtivarddhanam

urvvarukamiva bandhanan mrtyor mukshi yamamrtat

The meaning is freedom and it is a prayer to the "Grantor of Increase."

I hope this helps. Jai Ma ~ Linda

Sri Karunamayi teaches Sri Mrutanjaya Mantra very

nicely , it is appearently Mantra not only to protect

from accidents , but also an extremely powerful

healing mantra ( healing for all kinds of subtle

levels ) .

There is lots of info on this Shiva mantra on Internet

.. I am curious if Ammachi ever taught this mantra ?
