Guest guest
To everyone, After hearing the story about Terry and his family and Ravi and his family, I am wondering if there should be another Prayer Group person designated to write wherever one writes (San Ramon) to have these extreme cases brought to Mother's attention. I have no idea how to do it, and coordinating the group is about all I can do. What do you all think? And is anyone willing to work with me and be the designated person for this purpose? Guest guest
Any time we pray for anyone, we're bringing them to Amma's attention. Each of Amma's centers probably has a method by which prayers can be requested for specific individuals. At the MA Center, people who can do it, place the name and reason prayers are needed under Amma's sandals in the Puja Room. If you are too far away for that, you can contact Br. Dayamrita via email at dayamrita or Santhi at Santhi at ammasanthi. You can also call the MA Cetner. No doubt Santa Fe and Michigan have similar routes for prayer requests. Amma ALWAYS hears these prayers. Guest guest
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Amma, Again, I believe it would be a good idea to outwardly (verbally) or inwardly, whichever suits the individual person, state the intention that "I am saying this prayer for these people," and then to outwardly or inwardly say their names. I have added a phrase after each name, which you may chose to say or not. It is asya mangalarthat cha. asya mangalarthat means "for the benefit of," and cha means "and," thus connecting all the people being prayed for. The names for this week's Prayer Group are: Amritavarshini asya mangalarthat cha balakrishnan and madhubala asya mangalarthat cha Benjamin Booker asya mangalarthat cha Joe Butler asya mangalarthat cha Carl asya mangalarthat cha Patricia Carmen and Family asya mangalarthat cha Chandra (for crossing over) asya mangalarthat cha Savita (Chandra's niece) asya mangalarthat cha Omkar (Chandra's son) asya mangalarthat cha Charles asya mangalarthat cha Corb asya mangalarthat cha Amy Dawn asya mangalarthat cha Dorothy asya mangalarthat cha Emily asya mangalarthat cha Erica's husband's father asya mangalarthat cha Family of Eve, Bob & Leonard asya mangalarthat cha Joe asya mangalarthat cha Koh Koon Ea asya mangalarthat cha Marta Lauser asya mangalarthat cha Munsure Harvey asya mangalarthat cha Joya asya mangalarthat cha Carol King asya mangalarthat cha Koh Koon Ee asya mangalarthat cha Madhu asya mangalarthat cha Madhubala asya mangalarthat cha Rick and Stacy Marquez asya mangalarthat cha Michael Moore asya mangalarthat cha Amilca Mouton-Fuentes for crossing over asya mangalarthat cha Michelle Mouton (Amilca's Mother) asya mangalarthat cha Juan Fuentes (Amilca's Father) asya mangalarthat cha Azul Fuentes (Amilca's Son) asya mangalarthat cha Paul Smith (Amilca's Husband) asya mangalarthat cha Gordon Mosteller asya mangalarthat cha Mary Mosteller asya mangalarthat cha Mrs. Nisha asya mangalarthat cha Jeff O. asya mangalarthat cha Pam asya mangalarthat cha Avanish Ramidi asya mangalarthat cha Linda Rae asya mangalarthat cha Kathi Ray asya mangalarthat cha Renee asya mangalarthat cha Robin and family asya mangalarthat cha Shreemata asya mangalarthat cha Antonio Stockwell asya mangalarthat cha Sundar asya mangalarthat cha MaryBeth Talbott asya mangalarthat cha Cecily Welter asya mangalarthat cha Wilma asya mangalarthat cha Anthony Williams asya mangalarthat cha Byron Williams asya mangalarthat cha Dee Wilson asya mangalarthat cha Freeman Wilson asya mangalarthat cha Ida Wilson asya mangalarthat cha Bob & Vicki Woodyard asya mangalarthat cha Zurichca asya mangalarthat cha All Members of the Ammachi Digest World Peace asya mangalarthat cha the Dark Time in 2005 predicted by Amma asya mangalarthat cha Then people can proceed with their prayer, whatever they wish it to be. Some of the suggestions are: * to say the Aum Amriteswaryai Namah (a mala or as many or as few as is comfortable) * to say your own mantra given by Amma, or some other mantra you feel especially drawn to * to say the 108 Names of Amma * to pray in any other way that suits you * to say the Mahamrtumjaya Mantra (I suggest 21 times, but again, as many or as few as is comfortable. It has been suggested that people could use these names and continue to pray each day or any one or more days during the week, however, the official PRAYER GROUP DAY will be SUNDAY. I would like to suggest, and again this is only a suggestion that people can do or not do, that we end with: Om Lokaah Samastaa Sukhinoh Bhavantu (May all Beings be Happy) and Shant Shanti Shanti
Guest guest
Maybe I just didn't see this one on the list, but please include Terry, his wife & 6 children in special prayers. Thank you
Guest guest
Dear brothers and sisters in Amma, This is your friendly reminder that you have today and tomorrow to send in the names of people you wish to have put on the Prayer Group List. Unless you indicate that you want the person(s) on indefinitely or for a certain period of time, they will be listed on this Sundays list only. The list will appear in the Saturday Digest. Guest guest
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Amma, Even though I am going to be away for a few days, today and tomorrow are the days to send in any names you would like to have on the Prayer Group List for this Sunday. I am not sure whether I will be back on Friday (I am hoping to) or on Saturday. Either way, I will update the list, and it will either be in Saturday's Digest or in Sunday's Digest. Please excuse my temporary hiatus to Tucson to see the specialist, but even if the list doesn't get in until Sunday's Digest, everyone interested can still participate. Guest guest
Dear brothers and sisters in Amma, First, I want to say how glad I am to be back and able to be reading the digest and keeping up with what everyone has to say again. I feel very positive about my trip to Tucson to see the specialist. Second, I am asking a favor. Everyone has the Prayer Group List from today's digest. I would like to ask that we begin over as many of the names have been on the list for quite some time. So I would ask than anyone who wishes prayers for themselves or another send (or re-send) those names to me via my individual email: _Nierika_ (Nierika) This will ensure that those who still really need the prayers will be on the list for next week, and those whose situations may have bettered will not be re-added, and perhaps the list will be a bit less unwieldy. However, wieldy or unwieldy, everyone who needs prayer should certainly be on the list, so do not hesitate to send the name.
