Dear Ranjeesh ~ this reminds me of a time when I had the great fortune to hear Dr. Elizabeth Kubler-Ross speak, and then to meet her personally. She talked of her work with prisoner, and how each one had a terrible story. Then suddenly one day, she remembered her own inner rage. As a child, she had raised a black bunny. This bunny was her friend. Then one day, when the bunny was gr own, her father made her take it to the slaughterhouse. She said, "We all have our black bunnies," and I believe that is true, whether we are in prison or not. I was dealing with my own rage at the time (abusive family), so hearing this was great comfort to me and helped me also. I suppose this is somewhat tangential...but I highly recommend reading her autobiography, "The Wheel of Life." It's been years since I've read it, but I remember it being deeply moving and tremendously inspiring. She did beautiful work in this world.
