Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, My father, Joe Butler, is having a rough time healthwise. He's in the hospital for complications following knee replacement surgery, specifically a fairly nasty drug-resistant bacterial infection which entered his bloodstream. He's being treated very aggressively with antibiotics (and also Chinese herbal tonics for immunity), but in cases like this there's a significant chance that the infection could settle in the new prosthetic knee. In that case, it would have to be surgically removed, nothing done for six weeks while he lies around with no knee, and then replaced -- not something I'd wish on anyone, let alone a 79-year-old guy prone to depression and other neurological issues. I've already ordered a Shiva puja in his name, and am lining up the best medical care available. Basically all there is to do now is pray that the infection leaves his body and does not enter his replacement knee joint. Please add him to your prayers -- and if there's a specific way to add him to some sort of prayer list (I couldn't find this on the website), I'd be grateful to know. Blessings, Jim / Pranav
Guest guest
Namah Shivaya Jim I would highly recommend writing to Mother at: > http://www.amritapuri.org/sevadesk/mailma.htm Many of my prayers have ben answered this way. Some things were rather miraculous. Maybe Linda can add your father to the list for this week. Your father will be in this child's prayers. prasadini Jim Butler wrote: > > Namah Shivaya, > > My father, Joe Butler, is having a rough time healthwise. Guest guest
Namah Shivaya Jim Please write to Amma as advised by Prasadini. I have done that, and I always feel She has heard my request. I will pray for your father and your family well-being. Jai Ma Nagu
Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, Many thanks to Prasadini, Linda and Nagu and all who are including my father in their prayers. I did write to Amma today at the link given. I will include Erica's husband in my prayers as well. Grieving is natural, and love and "tincture of time" are the best medicines. blessings, Jim / Pranav Ammachi, "srimata53" <nageshwari@n...> wrote: > > Namah Shivaya Jim > > Please write to Amma as advised by Prasadini.
