I've been wanting to post this for a week, ever since I got back

from seeing Amma in Michigan.

It was a magical 5 days, and members of the Michgan satsang

(and surrounding areas) worked so hard. It was a blessing to

see how they pulled off the retreat and public programs with so

much thought and thorough effort.

Anyway, this Mother's child took notice and am infinitely grateful.

Personally, there were a lot of great moments, from getting a ride

with Erica from the airport, to taking the IAM course, to getting a

spiritual name from Amma. And all the bhajans swirling around

in my head to this day, a week later. And all the instances where

people were crying just from being in Amma's presence. And the

disabled people coming to see Amma and getting their limbs

rubbed and caressed by Her. And all the people watching Her

give darshan while fingering their beads, chanting their mantras

silently.

And the many instances where Amma would hold small children

and play with them for a bit, and most children would laugh and

be delighted and look for the Hershy's kiss.

And all the couples and families that got blessed, deepening

their bonds in Amma's love.

And I really liked getting a massage, a 15 minute back and

shoulder and neck rub, sitting in one of those special chairs,

with the proceeds going to Amma's charities.

It was a lot, and I feel truly blessed to have been a part of it.

J'ai MA!
