So first Holiday was nearing and we planned for a 24 Hrs Akhanda Nama Japa. But no idea which Mantra to take...we totally got confusedwhich one to select for chanting. So we decided to approach Ashram and check with Swamiji (Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri) who is in charge of Middle east activities. Can you guess what his reply was....???? "Aum Amriteswaryai Namah" I would propose since we are all AMMA devotees and this list is meant for AMMA why not take Aum Amriteswaryai Namah......the powerful Mantra and get blessing from our Divine Universal Mother Sri Sri Amritanandamayi Devi, the living God and progress in our spiritual path..... Dear Ajith/Dubai ~ wow, your story is wonderful, and since Swami Amritaswarupananda gave what he thought was the best mantra, and, as you said, we are all Amma's children, I totally agree with your proposal. Let's see what others in the group think, and then perhaps we can proceed with having someone coordinate, take the list of names of people others want prayer for, and then list the names back to the Digest. I'd love to get going. Jai Ma ~ Linda
