FROM Aikya on Prayer Group

I am not sure if anyone of us was able to get this mantra question--

or prayer list question--to Amma, so we may here more as the tired

San Ramon attendees get back on line.

The idea of using "Om Amriteshwaryai namah" is good. I would furthere

recommend that people can do any prayer to which they have devotion

and faith as an option. A Circle of Love letter writer was talking

to me about this when the group met on Thursday. She was saying that

she has a devotion ot the rosary and she would say the rosary.

The important thing is that those interested in participating would

express the intention that the prayers--whatever they were--would be

for those people for whome prayers had been requested. Then they

could either say "Om Amriteshwaryai namah" or any other prayer to

which they had devotion or faith. It seems what prayer it is is less

important than the fact that prayers, any old kind of prayers--even

puja-- are being said for the people.

What do you think?

Of course, if Mother gave some other answer then that settles it, but

I do think this could be a matter we can figure out.

In Amma's love,

Aikya

thinking of doing something new among our group to have participation

from all the devotees and their family members.

LSN Namavali Vilakku Pooja (Individual Chanting of the LSN).

Nama Japa. But no idea which Mantra to take....Some said "Aum Namah

Shivaya" ....some "Aum Namo Bhagavathe Vasudevaya"...... some

said "Mahamruthyunjaya Mantra".....some said "Aum Amriteswaryai

Namah" and so many other proposals came in....as we were from

different family background and level of spirituality and the end

result......... we totally got confused which one to select for

chanting. So we decided to approach Ashram and check with Swamiji

(Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri) who is in charge of Middle east

activities.

Amritanandamayi Devi, the living God and progress in our spiritual

path.....

Yes agreed, very good point.

Sri Ajith-ji has made some good points in favour of Aum Amriteswaryeh

Namah; Once Swami Ramakrishnanda told me that Amma has a high regard

for MM.

Is this prayer circle in this group itself or is there another list

for it?
