Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, This note is mainly about the negative feelings expressed regarding experiences with line monitors. It's about what I believe Amma is teaching me & would like for all of us to learn. Late last night in the temple hall, I was looking down on what seemed to be a veritable love fest, as Amma was giving darshan to the masses. What a sight to see so many people lined up for what appeared to be "just a hug." (Of course, it's more than that.) The thought crossed my mind, "Everybody just needs love." Then, I noticed someone kneeling near Amma, with whom I've had struggles. At that moment, it appeared that Amma made eye contact with me for the first time during the day. As all of you probably know, every glance from a Mahatma means something. Then, I could clearly see the love Amma is practicing in such a tangible way, is all of the true religions in action. I was near someone who was seeing Amma for the first time & was already doing dish washing seva. Since she felt she had already been so connected to & blessed by Amma, she didn't feel the need to get darshan through a hug. I am impressed! I wondered aloud to her, how can we fully love people when we feel hurt by them. She suggested visualizing the relationship as healed, & everything as it should be. I think this is a very good suggestion. The challenges we encounter with people, especially around Amma, are great learning & growth opportunities. Just think, when we transcend all of our personal likes & dislikes to love everyone equally as our own, as Amma does, what a tremendous impact this will have on our world. I'll be praying for us to do this. Sweta Meet the all-new My – Try it today!
