Guest guest
I have not taken IAM, partly because I cannot promise to do it every day. I asked Amma last night in San Ramon what she felt about the suitability of IAM for me. She said that sadhana was always good. I also asked her whether the technique indeed came from her, as she has never spoken of it that I have heard. She said then that many years ago she conceived of the techniques on the beach and taught them to a few people in simplified form. Recently it has had wider exposure, and Amma said that she wanted to provide a free technique for people who were inclined towards meditation as a sadhana. "It might be like a marriage," she said with a laugh. "Once the initial excitement of a new wife vanishes, you might be bored with it. But at least you will do it for a few months."
