Guest guest
I noticed that this year the chocolates are heart-shaped, and not Hershey's kisses. When asked (in a one-on-one conversation) why she changed, Amma said that there was a question asked in Boston about Hershey's. (Something about unethical use of labor, as I recall, perhaps child labor, by Hershey's). The current chocolates are hand-made and hand-wrapped, and I like them better. Guest guest
Dear Nandu, How cool. The whole corporate discussion at RI -- which included questions about Dasani water and other Coca Cola products -- was fascinating. Are they still silver-foil wrapped? Red? Pink? Inquiring minds want to know!!! Much love, Prashanti X

Guest guest
Prashanti The foil is silver. The Mendocino, Ca satsang took it upon themselves to melt bars of both milk and dark organic chocolate and pour them into heart shaped molds. One of the sevas being offered at the San Ramon program is to wrap these little chocolates. During the Wed - Friday programs, Amma was giving darshan to approximately 1800 devotees per program. That's close to 4000 hearts that needed to be wrapped per day. I don't know if they will be brought to the Michigan programs.
