Guest guest Posted November 16, 2004 Report Share Posted November 16, 2004 Dear Sweta, as Amma is now with you physically, in San Ramon, is it at all possible for you to write this question out and ask Swamiji about it, or ask him to ask Amma about it; or maybe you, or Aikya, could just DIRECTLY ask Amma about what would be the best format, and how to proceed with our groups's proposed prayer group. Thank you for all of your good thougths and deeds. What do we need to ask Amma regarding this prayer "group?" I can't imagine Amma being opposed to our praying for people. We can ask Amma what mantra to chant and ask for her blessing on the idea. (See how I have these little chats with myself?) We have to figure out how to do the prayer request. My suggestion is that someone on the become the person who collects prayer requests. Then they can post the names and reasons prayer is needed to the list. Anybody who wants to pray for the people, or say at the start of their prayers that they are offered for the people on the list can do so and read the names. Whoever is doing the posting would have to decide whether they could post daily or weekly. After a few posts, people would realize who was collecting prayer requests I think but the end of the message containing the list could be a reminder to send that person any prayer requests privately.
