Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, I just wanted to offer a few words of encouragement to anyone who is considering/wondering about taking the I AM meditation course at one of the November retreats: YES YES YES TAKE THE COURSE AND LEARN THIS MEDITATION! YOU WILL BE SO GLAD YOU DID! This meditation is such a precious and generous gift from our beloved Amma. Many people report feeling much happier and also more peaceful as a result of this meditation. I know it is making a huge difference in my life. Okay, that's my plug! If you are going to the San Ramon retreat, Steve Schmidt will be teaching the course there. (Steve and his wife Cathy founded Amma's Santa Fe ashram.)Anyway, he taught the course here in Austin, and it was fantastic. I'm sure all of the teachers of this meditation are wonderful, but Steve really touched us with his devotion and wisdom -- and we really enjoyed his sense of humor and very laid-back, down-to-earth way of being. Any others on this list going to San Ramon? I hope so -- it would be great to meet some more of my Amma brothers and sisters. Love to you all as we count the days -- Amala --- Kenna <itskenna wrote: > Namah Shivaya > > >> > Does anyone know if the IAM course offered as > part of the retreats is > >> > the same as the full version or just a > condensed one? > > > > I think much the same with the added blessing of > having Amma¹s form nearby! > > > > premarupa > > > > > > > > > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been > removed] > > Check out the new Front Page. www. Guest guest
Dear Amalaji,Premarupaji, For a while, have been contemplating not doing the retreat this year. Your messages about IAM just got this atom all charged up to go for the retreat. Thank you! ota > YES YES YES TAKE THE COURSE AND LEARN THIS MEDITATION! > YOU WILL BE SO GLAD YOU DID! > > This meditation is such a precious and generous gift > from our beloved Amma. Guest guest
In my understanding (ever limited), the course must be taught according to a predetermined format. When I took it, the teacher read most of the directions. They don't have leeway to make changes.
