Namah Shivaya,

Devotees camp at Mount Chabot Family Campground (in Castro Valley?). Someone

relayed that it's known to have been locked at 10:00PM, & so possible to end up

spending the night in your car. But, at the last retreat I talked to people who

stayed there with no problems. You night also check out Mt. Diablo (in

Danville) but I believe it's just a little further away from the MA Center.

Incidentally, Mt. Diablo is considered an especially spiritual place, probably

from the time when Native Americans populated the area. I've felt a strong

spiritual energy there. Information about these campgrounds is on-line. Hope

this helps you.

Hello,

I live in germany and my wife and me would like to join the San Ramon retreat

next year.

So I have a few questions:

At what time (roughly) will the next retreat happen (I now, that with Amma

anything can change very quickly)

I heard, there is a campground near to the retreat (we love living in a tent),

does anybody know if you can get to this site anytime of day or do we have to

come back there until some time in the evening (before Amma has ended)?

thank you for any hints

we dream of coming to the SR Retreat next summer, (not so many people there as

in Amritapuri, I hope) - and maybe not so much health-problems?

This is from Amma.org:

Camping

1. Anthony Chabot Campground: 30 minutes away by car / $15.00 a night. Located

in Anthony Chabot Regional Park (in the hills between Oakland and Castro

Valley). Reservations can be made from 12 weeks to 24 hours in advance. They

have a flier with directions and other details. Please note that the campground

has a strict 10:00 pm curfew when they lock the entry gate. Phone: (510)

562-2267

You shouldn't have so many health problems, but when Amma's here, there are a

lot of people!
