Help for another in need - please reply off-list

Dear ones,

 

Thanks to your generosity, my husband and I will be able to see Amma in

Michigan! We've

raised most of the money to cover the costs, and should be able to pay the rest

ourselves.

 

I recently became aware of another long-time devotee (she has known Mother for

12 years

and has been a source of comfort and information for new devotees who have felt

lost)

who had been hoping to travel to Michigan, but is on public assistance (because

she has

been too ill to completely support herself) and does not have the funds for the

trip. She is

currently diagnosed with two types of cancer, and faces serious surgery for her

cancer

shortly after Thanksgiving, just after Mother's visit. Understandably, she feels

anxious and

scared, and feels her heart and mind would be eased by being able to spend that

time

prior to her surgery with Mother, for the public programs and/or retreat in

Michigan.

 

She wishes to remain anonymous on the list, but deeply longs for help to be with

Mother

at this difficult time. If anyone would like to offer a contribution toward the

cost of her

retreat, hotel, or gas expenses, please email me, as she may not be able to go

otherwise.

 

It is my sincere prayer that the same generosity that was extended to me also be

extended

to her, by those who are able, so that she may be with Amma during this hour of

her need.
