Dear Robin ~ I too went through this same thing, and though it was scary when I had the second pap smear and biopsy, everything was fine. I have also had an abnormal mammogram, which, when I went back for the second, everything was fine. So believe in our body's fineness and try not to worry to much. Don't let your hubby or the lady, whoever she is get away with this. He needs to contribute to your financial wellbeing and having too much paperwork is no excuse. In my early 20s I used to work for a state program called the Absent Responsible Parent Locater Service. Our job was to hunt down deadbeat dads (mostly, though there were some women too) who were not paying child support. This program may still be in effect and might be able to help you. To find out, I'd call the local welfare office and ask them about it. Also, let me share a little of my story with you. In the 1990s, I started to become sick; I had a lot of pain; I had panic attacks. I was able to get help for the panic attacks, but not for the pain. Eventually, I had to quit my job due to my health. I had to declare bankruptcy; I lost my home; I had to move from the DC area where my daughter lives to Oregon to live with my mother. Then I met a nice man and we are together, but I live on ssdi, due to my illness, and it is not much. A good third of it goes to medication and copays for doctors. We live in a trailer, not a very big one, but it suffices. I like you, am unable to buy new clothes or shoes. I have to stick to the basics. I am just sharing this so you will know you are not alone. I am sure it is much harder to be in your situation, with your girls and worrying about them. You will have my prayers, without a doubt, and please believe that Amma does not want you to suffer or for your girls to suffer. You are doing a great job in the midst of very difficult circmstances, and my hat goes off to you. I will also remember you and your girls in my prayers ~ of that have no doubt.
