Guest guest
This is from Racing Along the Razor's Edge by Sw. Ramakrishnananda Puri. Amma says that She wants to ease the pain and suffering of everyone in the world. But, as it will not be physically possible for Her to help and console every person on the planet, She wants each of us to become Her hands, reaching out to those in need. Actually, Amma wants each of Her children to become another Amma, speading the light of unconditional love and compassion throughout the world. She says that She wants us to grow to such an extent that even the wind that touches our body will be beneficial to others. Every moment of Her life is dedicated to this goal. I admit I haven't looked at the Amma bookstore for a while, but I looked faithfully for months and have never been able to get a copy. I am really anxious to read it. I met someone at the San Ramon ashram who told me that when she did seva, the mantra automatically goes off in her mind; there is truly something magical about doing seva for Amma. -yogaman
