Guest guest
After quitting both my jobs in a Martian frenzy and totally regretting it, then praying ferven tly and emailing Amma, it looks like Im going to be getting at least one of them back. This is truly miraculous -how she can save me from my own sabotaging self so many times...is...beyond belief and feeds my faith and is so truly appreciated, MOTHER. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW! Guest guest
Why don't you give yourself some credit. Forget about the Martian stuff and come back down to earth. I am starting to believe that Amma is doing more harm then good to the westerners. Concentrate on you in the present. Get your life together or you'll be homeless like many other Amma devotees. ammaslotus <ammaslotus wrote:After quitting both my jobs in a Martian frenzy and totally regretting it, then praying ferven tly and emailing Amma, it looks like Im going to be getting at least one of them back. Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, Dear Tony, I had to smile at your statements. If you feel that Amma can do harm to others, your are definitely correct! Amma's mission is to harm and destroy our egos. That is the deepest expression of unconditional love. Only a Perfect Master like Amma can harm (and hopefully destroy) our egos while bathing us with infinite Divine Love. What good is having a home in the world if we don't have a home in our Heart for love, compassion, understanding and kind words? May you be well and happy, Jai Amma! Guest guest
Tony, Your statement that Amma harms westerners and that if you follow her you become homeless is a very grave statement. My personal experiences states the opposite. Here's my experience I quit my job to spend time in Amritapuri last Nov. I stayed in the ashram for 6 months doing seva. I taught Computer science graduates in Amma's institution. I didn't take a single penny. I then came back to US in May traveled to all cities Amma visited during summer tour till Chicago. Amma even asked me if I had a job during darshan in Seattle. I said not yet. But I had faith that I would get a job pretty soon - I had declined an offer because the salary was too low and my wife was constantly asking to tell Amma about my job situation. But I didn't because I never had asked Amma for material things since I met her in 95 and was not about to now. I always think Amma already knows and there's no point in mentioning. As soon as I came back from Chicago to Seattle, the very next day I had an interview and the following day the offer. I am still working and not homeless yet - I don't think I ever will be. You are also trying to destroy the faith of Ambujam which is not a good idea. Remember faith is always stronger than doubt. However you have a choice. you have a made the choice of doubt and Ambujam has made the choice of faith. It's not wrong to make a choice of doubt. Doubt is the start and faith is the destination. But your statements about Amma makes me suspect your intentions. Please post your experiences of Amma, are you a Amma devotee, have you met her.
