It's also good to know how much the flats are going for these days! To comfort you perhaps, please know that Amma always has you in her loving arms. My experience was that I was terrified to become closer to Amma and to spirituality because of my past experience with the Catholic religion and so many horrible experiences I had through twelve years of Catholic education. I stayed away from satsang for 6 months once because I was just exhausted and realized later that I was running away from changing. Amma had loved me so deeply and completely and changed my perspective so much that I had to do plastic surgery on the inside and come up with a whole new me. It was daunting. I had to change everything I believe in (mostly negative and mostly self defeating and mostly self destructive). At the end of that six months, after much crying and agony and fear, I surrendered to Amma all of my fear and doubt and hatred and self loathing because I knew in my heart finally that I am love, I am loved and AMMA LOVES SUPRITI!!!...After six months away I had to return to my "family" as a new being in Amma, as Amma's girl, as a child of GOD. Even though I spent those six month in darkness and away from my family in Amma, it was a time for shoveling out the SDF)*(&SDF of living in hell for 54 years and I had a lot to shovel. I believe the shoveling times have to be spent alone for some of us, lest we bury our friends and lovers in it....anyway, I hope this helps those of you who feel disconnected at times from your millions of brother and sisters, and AMMA.
