Also i have seen Amma call a few people to join the ashram there anyway in various capacities- they didnt pay a fee , but they work for Amma's various educational/charitable projects for free thus becoming Her ashram residents. Some time ago a friend of mine joined Amma's ashram/educational institution. He offerred to work for free- but Amma insisted that he take a salary from the institution just because he had some personal financial committments. Thus not only did he NOT pay any fee- but he is actually getting paid ! Yes if you want to go there, and NOT work for any institution like AIMS etc, and just want to stay there yes you most probably will have to pay the fee . But even then , Amma will find a way for out if you ask Her for help. Also, we should try and develop the attitude that all our money, and possessions and even our body and mind is God's/Amma's to start with. Where is the question of offering Her anything, when everything we have , including ourselves is Hers ? Finally, Amma knows best what we should be doing etc. Amma is easily the most compassionate selfless being on the planet right now, and Amma is our mother. Therefore let us just trust Her.
