Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, I actually chose to let my subscription lapse awhile back -- this was around the time they started publishing it in India -- because the content was going downhill. That is to say, all they were doing (for the most part) was reprinting stuff from Matruvani and existing books. And that's a bummer, since the Satsang from M.A. publications has been important to me. I'm more than happy to support Amma's charities, but I also think it's important to expect our gurubhais to demonstrate a reasonable amount of shraddha and creativity, and not just subject us to "Satsang on auto-pilot". If that's changed, and they're putting new material in there (like leelas from devotees around the world -- great stuff), I'd re. Would be happy to here some honest feedback on this. blessings, Jim/Pranav Ammachi, "Amalia Darling" <AmaliaDarling@h...> wrote: > Dear fellow cyber satsang members, > > Here's another way to stay connected! The ads for local Keralite products and businesses are fun to read - sometimes mixing quaint 19th century English ad copy with a picture of Amma. They're almost as good as the articles and Amma's words! And because it's mailed directly from India, it's always a crapshoot as to how long it will take to be delivered, what condition it will be delivered in, or whether it will be delivered at all! Keval Mail is new and improved - Check it out!
Guest guest
Jim, Can you help me get off this mail group, I sent them an email but they haven't stopped. I love amma but there are too many emails from the chat group. I just want the main group updates on satsangs etc. Thank you, Allyson Evelyn Jim Butler <acujames wrote:Namah Shivaya, I actually chose to let my subscription lapse awhile back -- this was around the time they started publishing it in India -- because the content was going downhill. Guest guest
Keval -- Agree! Matruvani is very good, and gives a real taste of that unique "Indian" vibe. I've gotta get back there; it's been too long.... Guest guest
Om namah shivaya, Maybe the content will improve if we send in our stories.
