Guest guest
Namah Shivaya list. Wish you all a happy (belated) Onam. we celebrated onam with some non-amma-devotee friends here. it was great fun to eat the variety of foods in a banana plantain! I am curious to know if there is anyone here who witnessed the Onam celebrations in Amritapuri. if so, how was it? I have read the official versions in amma.org etc, but am also interested in hearing the unofficial versions etc. ranjeesh, i know u were there... do you want to add your 'khurr' and 'ngiaa' version of Onam at Amritapuri?! . I had planned for that, to go there with the whole family . because of time constraints we postponned it to october. yahh . Onam was superrrbb.. really freaked out in relatives houses with lots of kids.. yeaahhh .... ngiaaaaa!!!!!!!!..Ayyyoooo...!! I have a big hole in my pocket now . myself being from a village and as there are plenty of poor people around I shelled out lot of money on them too. anyway feeling a great relief and a sense of usefulness too. I remember during my UK days, I had felt a kind of uselessness feeling in me. A feeling that nobody need me or my help. something stopped flowing from me . Later I figured out that it was because of lack of service mentality, the energy was blocked. But while visiting the village back, quite often I feel that .. yess I can make a difference to few people's lives, may be in small way. Should do something to make sure that school and college students are getting enough guidance. unfortunately teachers of local schools are very little informed about opprtunities for higher studies and jobs . I had struggled a lot during the college days because of lack of career guidance . Atleast let the next generation not have any such difficulties .. namah shivayah.. with lots of luv At amma's children's service Your little brother " We care about you, We care about the people around us"
