om namah shivaya ammas children

Amma is always saying that spirituality is about compassion and if

we truly love Her, than we would love everyone as Her.

in relaying the coconut account from this minds limited perceptions

of reality, i wrote freely, not necessarily thinking before i wrote...

i forgot to choose all my words care-full and creatively, forgot that

the word has the power to create and/or destroy.

i wrote about an experience with Amma in the form of Mata

Amritanandamayi but forgot to write about/remember Amma in the form

of others in the lila. i indulged in what i thought was self-

expression about my roommate in India, never once thinking that it

would affect the person as it was about something in the past... and

as Amma's grace would have it, the beloved child of Mother who i

judged publicly even as a past account, (as if i am in any position

to do so) saw that email and was very hurt.

How important is such a coconut experience if I am still seeing the

separation between Mother and all Her Selves and if I am using my

words in a negative fashion instead of for the upliftment of all. I

know Mercury is in retrograde and I have debilitated Mercury already

and I know Amma is just trying to show me the importance of always

thinking/speaking positively esp. about others but i ask for

forgiveness from Mother, from mentioned Child of Devi and from all of

you for not being conscious in the choosing of my words.

The original definition for the word SIN was an archery term meaning,

to MISS THE MARK. I feel like my negativity to even one in the story

made me miss the mark of AMMA.

I have made similar mistakes often in the past and as i am trying to

learn discernment while seeing the good in everyone, sometimes i feel

like im in denial of my experience but amma does say not to speak ill

of others ever and so do most spiritual teachers. Please beloved

sisters and brothers, please pray for this destructive vasana of mine

to be transmuted by our Mother. Pray that i, and all of us, see and

remember only the good in all beings...Thank you,

By the way, i would like to add, that though Mother seeemd to give me

the experience of taking away the desires for coconuts, while in

India, I am currently suffering an even deeper sickness in feeling

nutritionally inadequate without fish, protein supplements, multi

vitamins, etc. And though i am trying to save my money for renunciate

fee i am spending money on nutritional supplements because I feel

that the grace is not as accessible in my tamasic american dream as

when in india...

Im feeling really bad about it but then feeling better physically.

Namaste,

May I see only the Divine in YOU

Ambujam!

Surely Mother will take this vasana if you offer in

the same spirit with which you finally offered the

coconut- with humility and surrender! Aren't you glad

that you've been given the opportunity to work on it

now? Now is the best time!! See the humility this

experience is blessing you with!!

About the nourishment thing... bodies can be quite

happy and healthy sans fish and other meats, but you

should be sure to get proteins from other sources

(nuts, seeds are great and quite portable for yogi/nis

on the go). Multi vitamins and supplements are nice,

but not necessary if we eat nourishing, whole foods in

harmony with our doshas. Also, any food offered to

Amma before we eat is prasad, and nourishes bodies AND

minds AND hearts!!

your sister,

Prajna
