Guest guest
Namah Shivayah to all. I had the most vivid and beautiful darshan dream last night and wanted to share it with my divine siblings. I was in a hall with my mom and two sisters. The hall was filled with rows and rows of people all sitting on benches, almost like a church, but not quite. The walls were high and it was loud with people's conversations. I was telling my family members that they just had to wait for a few more minutes and Amma would be coming to the hall. Well, I walked towards the door and saw a big poster (like an old 1970s concert poster -- colorful background with big black letters) that had Amma's picture on it and directions to where she was REALLY going to be. I told my mom that I had to go to find Amma. She said that I should wait and stay there, but I said, "NO! I am going, even if I have to leave you guys here!!" I put on my backpack (?) and walked out the door; my family followed. We walked and walked in the dark night. I felt like I was never going to get there; I felt very rushed! I panted and sweated, trying to make it to my Amma!! We finally got there. It was a smallish building, almost like a log cabin on the outside, and only a small group was gathered there: about 50-75 people. It was very informal and Amma walked around amongst us freely as people sang, painted, meditated, or read. Amma tapped me on the head and said to me (in English no less!), "Child, come with me to the restroom." I was SHOCKED, but of course I followed her as she fixed her saree and looked at her bun. I saw us both there, in the mirror. I was transfixed on her as she futzed with her hair and washed her face. She was talking to me but I don't remember what she said. I know that I kept looking at her and then seeing both of us in the big mirror... She told me to follow her up to the front of the room and sit at her feet while she lead satsang. She spoke in CLEAR English the entire time. As she spoke, she would look over to me and smile, or pat my head, or rub my cheek. She also kicked my knee a few times, playfully. I also got my darshan hug, which was incredibly beautiful and warm (my family members were there with me for that!) and I never wanted it to end. She told me, "Go! Go now! Enough fawning over me...you know I am in your heart...now go and take care..." I didn't want to leave her, but she was pushing me out of the nest, like a mother bird would do to a baby bird. I was scared and sad because Amma was making me stand on my own two feet. Then I woke up, kind of sad but still happy and warm from my dream darshan. I'm sure there are messages in there for me... JAI MA With love, Still at Amma's feet, Niseema P.S. Robin, you are right...when I asked Amma for a mantra, I could barely get it out...mostly because I was so "blissed out" from my darshan. I also get a little nervous when I am going to for darshan, but I realize that she is our Mother and it all melts away.
Guest guest
Namaste Dearest Sister, OOOOOOOooooooooooo!!! I love dreams!!! Especially these. I am so jealous! (grin) How I long for such a dream from Mother! I'm so happy for you. It sounds enchanting. I would like to throw out some ideas of mine and you can take them or leave them in anyway you wish. The walls were high Walls - Blocked, Obstacle. Locks you in rigid roles and fear. Tear down the walls or go around them by changing beliefs and attitudes. I walked towards the door and saw a big poster (like an old 1970s concert poster -- colorful background with big black letters) that had Amma's picture on it and directions to where she was REALLY going to be. Poster - (advertisement) - Pay attention. Higher self or guidance is sending you a message. I put on my backpack Backpack - Baggage, Clutter, Making something difficult that is really quite easy. Log cabin - Rest and Relaxation is needed as people sang, painted, meditated, or read. Painted - Expression, Changing attitude, Cleaning up, Redoing. Singing - Expression of joy, Harmony, Healing energies, Raises kundalini Book or Reading - Book of life, Knowledge of plan, Important lessons Meditation - Know yourself, way to the guru or teacher within. tapped me on the head Head - You are intellectualizing too much, get out of your head. Restroom - Cleansing, Elimination of the old. I saw us both there, in the mirror. Mirror - Self meeting self Washing - Cleansing Face- Face up to the situation, do not hide Hair - Power flowing from your crown chakra or higher spiritual center. She also kicked my knee a few times, playfully. Knee - Your support system, need to be more flexible I will throw all this together, but you know how you felt in the dream etc. so you will know the true meaning. But I wrote out some of mine and some of my dream books definitions for you so you can see if any of it clicks. The walls were high and it was loud with people's conversations. Are you locked into a roles or fear of some kind? The people's loud conversations can be telling you to tear down the walls, change your beliefs or attitudes, they are giving you a message that is helpful to your life. Somehow this dream might involve your family in waking life? What could be going on here, something to think about. You walk towards a door (Opportunity for self discovery) and see a poster of Amma (pay attention) advertising a message from the higher self and sending you a message. It had directions on it showing you where she would REALLY be, she is showing you where you are and where you need to go. You put on your backpack (baggage and clutter of lifes demands) making something more difficult than it needs to be. You walked and walked in the dark night. You are walking through a situation with low energy and little clarity, Meditate and get your energy up, turn on the inner light. You were perspiring (are you cooling down from a "heated" situation in waking life?) You are struggling and making things much harder than you have to, there is no need to struggle and suffer. Flow with the river of life, relax, and seek inner guidance. You came upon a cabin (rest and relaxation is needed) DON'T STRUGGLE Dearest Sister, this message is coming in clear to me. RELAX! People were showing ways to do this by expressing themselves, relaxing, painting, singing, reading, meditating. Find what is relaxing to you and stick with it. Amma then approaches you and taps you on your head saying " You are thinking WAY too much, GET OUT OF YOUR HEAD!" She takes you to the restroom and you see both of you in the mirror. Self meeting self. She washes her face, "face up to the situation, do not hide." She kicked your knee a few times symbolizing your support system, you need to be more flexible. Your last line says it all, She is making you stand on your own two feet. Whatever this trail is your are struggling with, Mother is within you at all times, holding your hand. She says it all when she says "You know I am in your heart" This is the "directions" to where she REALLY is. Express your way to her through whatever means you feel comfortable with, painting, singing (I love singing) reading (also a favorite) and mediation. This is the road map to your inner self. Get out of your head and into your heart. DON'T STRUGGLE, RELAX, AND GET OUT OF YOU HEAD, really seem to scream at me here. We could all use this lesson. (grin) I have a hard time myself. I'm so glad you shared this inspiring and BEAUTIFUL dream! I LOVE dreams like this. I wish I could have them all the time. LOL I hope some of this might help you figure out what is in your heart, and ignore the stuff that doesn't "click". I'm always here to talk if you need an ear. You know my number and my email. All my love to you and yours. At Amma's Lotus Feet, Robin Read only the mail you want - Mail SpamGuard.
Guest guest
Robinji!! You have been hiding a talent!! What a lovely translation, what a treat. The Sufis consider the dreams of a spiritual aspirant to be very signficant, however I have heard (or read) several hindu gurus say that they are just mind-debris. Does anyone know what is Amma's take on the significance of dreams? I've had several "dream darshans," and they are really something! love, Prajna --- Robin Wilson <lilymoonjewel wrote: > Namaste Dearest Sister, > > OOOOOOOooooooooooo!!! I love dreams!!! This was really a comfort to me when I read it, since I was going through a tough time emotionally and I had 2 or 3 dreams about Mother at the time. The dreams I've had of her are usually puzzling though, in a recent one she was giving me recipes and making me tomato salad. When I woke up I was confused, but then I realized that she was really acting as a mother would, feeding her child and giving her child directions on how to feed herself. Guest guest
Thank you Brianna, I have always loved interpreting dreams, but I can not interpret my own to save my life! lol I can with some but with the "bigger" dreams it gets difficult, to "see" the picture. It's easier to see the solution to a problem when your not part of the problem. And I can not take credit for interpreting Erica's dream. I felt like half the time I was not even thinking, my hands were just typing words. I REALLY felt the message and that it seemed to be something Erica needed to hear, so Mother sent her dream to me, so that I could answer though her. So you can tell Amma she has been "hiding" a talent. (wink) I had nothing to do with it. At Amma's Lotus Feet, Robin Brianna Mosteller <rubyrapunzel wrote: Robinji!! You have been hiding a talent!!
