Guest guest Posted August 8, 2004 Report Share Posted August 8, 2004 Dearest sisters and brothers, I just wanted to report that I really *love* my new job [as a veterinary technician and receptionist]! The hours are very long and grueling, but the work is completely worth any aggravation that I might encounter during the day. I'm an inveterate animal lover and had realized recently that I needed to return to this line of work; within three days, I found this job. The deft hand of Mother? I think so. A nice little surprise also cropped up when I received my first paycheck and saw that my starting hourly rate was a dollar *higher* than what had been quoted to me when I began the job!
