Guest guest
Dear Bala, Niseema, Brianna (?): It looks like Amma has indeed turned the job karma button as this tiny atom is also feeling the heat (a little). Or, is it because of the changes in the sky? Recently, I noticed that there are two planetary changes coming up: Jupiter moves on August 28th and Saturn moves on September 5th. Maybe that holds the key. You are all in my prayers. Yogaman: Your post on the tools and technologies Amma has given us is such a memorable one. Hoping to (re)start the daily worship of Devi with LS, flowers, fruits, food, incense and light. Getting up at 4 am is the tough part Amme Sharanam, ota
Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya and AloHA, sisters n brothers in AMMA, Ive been feeling so blessed lately that i was just about to write all of you and tell you how good things were going for me at work and how Amma is giving me so much now- maybe i WAS GETTING TOO COMPLACENT AS NOW i have made yet another mistake at my job and am agian afraid of losing it. It is my own stupid fault as i am sometimes forgetfula nd spacey but only Devi can save me now from my own self and the repercussions of my carelessness. i want to ask you to please pray for me to not get raked over the coals for this mistake. but you know what, if i do thats what my karma is and i must just accept it- im terrified but she will be with me. im such a baby- i always pray for her to take all my pain and suffering away even though i know it helps me grow.and she does the best to soften my load but what a waste of my energy - trying to resist it so much. i should just let my karmic bondage unravel as it will knowing She is right here with me, loosening and tightening the slack only to the levels i can handle. Do i trust Her? all this life is jsut a series of test to learn to trust MOTHER SELF and even though she spells it out for us- we are still shocked when we have to give up some comforts, some pride, some ego. I know this is all her lila and it really doesnt matter if i keep my job or lose it as either way all there is is me and devilove and everything else is just illusionary movie sets, enticing or grotesque as they may be. Ive been thinking... maybe one way to look at it is not that we are being cooked by Mother as much as that our frozen, numb hearts are thawing out and as our sensations return, there we find the pain that we tried to escape long ago through choosing? unconsciousness. Mother says God is only giver of all good. She says not to ever say that God is giving us bad experiences... it it our own imperfections that create the negative realities. God is perfect, love, bliss, wealth, victory, joy and wisdom complete eternally. JAI AMME Ambujam

Maybe > that holds the key. > OTA : It is my experience when tremendous japa is done esp. with concentration, all planetary karma are removed. Sometime ago I was hanging on to life by a single thread, japa alone saved me. In order to get instant effects from japa, japa has to be done with a concentrated one-pointed mind/trance state. The best way is to attain this state of concentration is a technique described as the 100 to 1 method in a book called "The Silva mind control method". When done in this manner, japa generates so much energy and joy. Since there are many people who have done extensive japa, I welcome suggestions on how japa can be deepended- I am always looking to enlargen my arsenal :-) is > such a memorable one. Hoping to (re)start the daily worship of Devi > with LS, flowers, fruits, food, incense and light. Getting up at 4 am > is the tough part > Getting up at 4 am is hard I agree; I strugged with getting up for nearly 8 years and even today there are days when I laze around and get up late. By constantly reminding others, it behooves me to a higher standard of conduct and there is no further excuse for me to laze around Anyhow what I do to get up - I have 4 alarm clocks (1 that is almost blasts out 50 watts of sound) and a flask of tea by the bedside; the moment my alarms go, I immediately gulp down tea; perhaps having a caffeine jolt right in the morning is not the best way of getting up, but then tea is a healthy drink in its own right and is great aid to meditation (being extensively used by Buddhists monks). All I can tell is that after the first few days when the fatigue of getting up early is somewhat lessened, it gives great joy to be doing japa in brahmamuhurta. If 3-4 hours of japa is done, the day usually goes by wonderfully. Karunamayi Amma says that it is in the early hours of the morning that the planetary rays do not strike earth, and so japa done during this time is VERY fruitful. On a somewhat scientific reasoning, the last few hours prior to waking up is when we spent our sleep in the REM state; this is the state where we are living out daily experiences and reinforcing old beliefs. By consciously staying awake, we prevent those old beliefs from being reinforced and thus change out lives. In fact if you are dream conscious, we can see that most dreams are just of reflection of the previous day or the next day. -yogaman
