Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, brothers and sisters in Amma... ....I have not posted here since Amma's visit last year! However, I do come to read here often and love keeping up with you. I think Amma would want me to participate more in online satsang! It is such a good way to start and end each day. I was blessed to be able to receive Amma's darshan at Her Boston evening program and at the RI Devi Bhava again this year. (Keval, I looked for you!! Didn't see you or other T.O. brothers and sisters, but I was thinking of you all!) I was able to bring a dear colleague of mine to Amma in RI, his first time. It was a profoundly moving experience for him, which made my experience all the more blessed and joyous! At the end of RI, we went around to the back exit of the hall(11:45 A.M.!) to Amma's car to say goodbye and try to get one last touch of Her hand. We were standing a row behind the people who formed the first row of the human tunnel of Amma's children that forms when She exits the hall. My colleague was standing a few people down toward Her car. As She brushed all our hands as She passed, I saw Her brush by my colleague's (Gerard's) hand, stop at his area and look directly at HIM with a beaming smile, and reach Her hand out right to him! As he touched Her, She looked over a few people directly to me, and reached out to me next and grabbed my hand! Then, back to Gerard to grab his hand one more time! Amma wanted to welcome Her newest little baby into the fold, and Gerard (and I!) got an experience with Mother that we will never forget. She was clearly saying, "I know who you are and who you came with! You're mine!", it felt like to me, this little one who depends on Her and His Lord for so much, for everything.... Thank you, Amma. Thank you, Lord. It was an especially beautiful Bhava... Mother was resplendent, ever more so as the night unfolded into morning. The energy around Mother felt softer and more playful this year, or was it just me? Things felt a little less frenetic and a little easier. I had lots of wonderful connections and conversations with Amma's children from all over... lots of first-timers coming up and asking me questions at the booths... "which books should I buy? which CDs are best here?", was like Amma saying, "you haven't signed up for enough seva! You're helping newcomers... get busy!" It was great. In Boston, Amma blessed an "Om Christave Namaha" bracelet for me and put it on my wrist Herself... I have yet to remove it! All I've done is close it tighter to me. It was a beautiful moment I will always cherish. She has made it so clear to me in so many ways, when I first tried meditating on Her Form, that I had unfinished business with Jesus and needed to heal that relationship and honor Him as my Lord as well, having been a Roman Catholic refugee and pilgrim, wandering for so long... so Amma placing that bracelet on me was a continuation of Her pointing the way for me, showing me the way to God in the way that best suits each one of our unique dispositions and understanding. Jai Ma! I joyfully bow you all, my fellow little sisters and brothers in God. At the Master's Feet, satyadev
