it is called Kajal, and it is known Ayurvedically to have very healing

properties for the eyes... contains camphor and I forget what else. I have

considered using it, even though I don't like makeup. You can apply a very

little bit and receive some benefits. I understand they sell a very pure

brand (the kind in Indian stores may not be) at Kali Ray's website:

http://gallery.bcentral.com/GID4607549DD200573-Health-Items.aspx this is

the address for their online shop, and you'll see the Kajal listed there.

An ayurvedic practitioner would likely recommend this.

Blessings,

Achintya

As I am a Western man who is not a rock star, my suddenly appearing with

a line of Ayurvedic mascara under my eyes is likely to get me a lot of

unwanted attention.

Hi Len.

Why not just apply it as a treatment at bedtime.

And if your dreams take you to a stage in a big stadium with thousands

cheering for you, well who cares!

I say there's a little rock star in everyone, so go for it!!

But then, I'm a makeup artist by trade, so my tolerance for makeup's a little

higher. :-)

I have heard of this product before... it has a dedicated following and people

special order it in large quantities...
