When his neighbor saw what he was doing, he came to him and said, 'Do you think you will live long enough for these saplings to become trees and bear fruit for you to taste?' 'No, I doubt it,' replied the old man. 'Then why are you wasting your time?' asked the neighbor. The old man smiled and said, 'All my life I have enjoyed eating mangoes from trees that have been planted by others.
