I just read the first critical American article referring to Amma in the

Mercury Press. About the persecution of the author who dared to question some

of

the ashram dogma. I think a corner has been turned in the trajectory of the

phenomenon called Ammadom, and that this is only the beginning of a more

critical take by the media. It is too bad that they could not let a man write a

criticism, from a skeptical perspective. You've got to expect that if you are

claiming miracles and Godhood. They would have been much better off letting the

book be, and it would likely have been ignored. By attacking freedom of

speech it makes for a rather ugly display, IMHO.

Can you fill us in a little bit more on this, please? I read all of the

posts, but I don't know what book you're referring to, when claims of

Godhood/miracles were made, or anything about what you've discussed here. Is

there a way we could read the article?
