Guest guest
Dear Amma list, A while back I promised to share snippets of Amma's visit to Seattle for those interested. Amma arrived today around 10:00 a.m. Before Amma got through customs, one of the flight crew came up and said, "Wow! 34 vegetarian meals on one flight!" We all laughed, of course. Finally, She arrived, and proceded to give darshan to the relatively small group assembled at the airport. (The "rule" is that we can't go to the airport unless we have "transportation seva," giving rides to Amma's entourage. Amma stopped before giving me my dashan and gave a "thumbs up" sign. Since I have been practicing Ramana Maharshi's question, "Who is this 'I' to whom this experience comes?" I asked myself that when Amma gave this sign. Then she stopped and gave another "thumbs up" sign. We moved quickly with the Mother out the doors into the small van rented this year. (The company was out of large vans.) Mother, Ron, Dayamrita Swami, Lakshmi, and Swamini Krishnamrita and squeezed into the small van with Amma, then suddenly Swamiji, looking smiling and radiant, appeared and got into the front passenger seat, and Kannan drove them away. Later, after collecting my passengers, who had to deal with a luggage issue, we arrived at Bipin's for lunch with Amma. Such an overflowing gathering of love! Amma was having people tell jokes. Here's a short one: A skeleton walks into a chai shop. He says, "Give me a cup of chai--and a mop!" Mother found this one hilarious! There were two more I can tell later if people want. Time is a little short now. Then Amma started a song, and we all joined in. She passed down a long aise of her devotees, giving each one darshan, some of us for the second time today! (Life doesn't get any better!) I saw a young mother and her daughter, and gave them my place in the line, thinking I'd already had darshan, but somehow the woman behind me pulled me back in the line, and Amma gave me darshan again, too. So it's a happy time here in the Emerald City! In Amma's love, Jyotsna Friends. Fun. Try the all-new Messenger. http://messenger./

Guest guest
Dear Sister Jyotsna, thank you so very much for sharing these experiences with us. Wonderful that you got 2 "thumbs ups " and 2 darshans. Of course we want to read the other jokes, when time becomes available for you to write them on the List. We eargly look forward to any little pieces of news of Amma in Seattle, whenever you have the time to write. Thank you again. In Amma's Love, Sara J. Ammachi, "E.
